Porsche cars have always been available in many, many variants (Carrera, cabriolet, targa, turbo, RS, speedster) in a dazzling array of colours and in specifications to match particular geographies (for example, cars intended for warmer climates often have smaller batteries).

With the links above you can now check the meaning of a particular Option Code, match a colour code and determine if any particular Porsche was made specifically for your country.

You can discover the specification, details, driving impressions and more for every road-going Porsche car at PorscheArchive.

Colour Codes for interior carpets and cabriolet hoods

Porsche Interior Colours

Porsche colour codes can be something of a nightmare! The full colour spec for a car is contained in a five digit reference in the vehicle identification label but Porsche do not publish a breakdown of its makeup. The fully decoded data can only be obtained from the Porsche importer for your georgraphy (and then it will only be given to the registered owner of the vehicle) .

The sections in this category list the known colour codes for basic colours and material mixtures. Sometimes the same colour is given two or more codes and this usually indicates a change of paint supplier; the same colour from different paint suppliers may not match....

If you don't see the colour or colour combination you want, you can always use Porsche Exclusive to supply anything you want (but, be careful - a pearl pink GT3 with yellow buckskin seats and a woodgrain roll cage might not have much of a resale value!!).
